    FAQ's

Regular preventative maintenance is the key to avoiding breakdowns. This includes regular inspection of spindles, ball screws, lubrication, calibration, geometry and cleaning of critical areas that are subject to swarf and coolant. During a full service of the CNC machine, Dolby Machine Tools can identify worn-out parts that should be replaced to keep your machine working to the highest standard. It is always better to be proactive than reactive.

    Lack of maintenance
Mechanical wear and tear (e.g., worn-out bearings, belts, or spindles)
Electrical issues (e.g. faulty wiring, drive failure, power supply failure or motor failure)
    Operator error
Contamination or debris buildup in critical components

If your CNC machine breaks down, start by checking the alarm screen on the control panel to help diagnose the issue. While some faults can be easily fixed, misloading components or selecting the wrong program may lead to more serious problems, such as the need for a complete machine realignment. If you need assistance, we’re always available for telephone support to guide you through these situations.
