Matsuura MAM 700 – Machine Breakdown

One of our automotive customers who are committed to innovative, high-quality products have a Matsuura MAM700, amongst many other machines.

Their Matsuura Breakdown was caused by a collision that required an urgent repair. After they called to report the issue, we were able to attend site the following day.

After investigation the spindle required a refurbishment along with the Z axis ballscrew.

The engineers who attended site last Monday removed the spindle, carried out the necessary work and reinstalled it on the Thursday.

The ballscrew was then removed on the Tuesday and reinstalled on the Wednesday.

Our customer was extremely impressed with how quickly we were able to attend site and repair the machine.
